November 25, Horizon School Division was made aware of a COVID-19 diagnosis in
an individual at St. Brieux School.
Families at St. Brieux School are being informed of this case, and we are
working closely with our excellent partners in Public Health to assist in the
contact tracing process.
At this time, the school remains open to
students in K-12.
Further details cannot be provided, to maintain the privacy of the individuals
We all have a shared responsibility to limit the spread of COVID-19. We thank
Horizon's staff, students, and families for all their efforts to help mitigate
the risks in this pandemic. We continue to require students and staff to stay
home if they are experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19. Horizon's detailed Re-Entering Horizon Plan can be found on horizonsd.ca, along with
our new Administrative Procedure regarding Illness in Care, which details the process to be followed
when a child experiences symptoms or illness while at school.
