The first Horizon School Division Collaborative Learning Day was held on Thursday, August, 25, bringing teachers together for a day of learning before they welcome students back to their classrooms on September 1. Approximately 500 teachers gathered in Humboldt, SK, to take part in professional development opportunities and collaboration with their peers from across the division.

Throughtout the school year, Horizon will hold a total of four Collaborative Learning Days, offering learning opportunities for all teachers, school secretaries, librarians, caretakers and bus drivers. Collaborative Learning Days are one of the many ways we work to support and engage staff in our culture of collaboration, allowing us to provide the best learning environments for all Horizon students.
