Casadi Krieger, Chloe Mills and another Grade 5 student at Lanigan Elementary School are recipients of a grant from I am Stronger. As part of an assignment for "Genius Hour", the three girls from the Grade 5/6  class decided to do their project on bullying. It started out as a research project, but quickly turned into more.  The girls felt that all students should have a safe place to have fun. From this idea, they decided to start the "Let's Be Awesome" Club for the Grade 3, 4 and 5 students. The students meet every Tuesday at lunch to discuss many different topics, such as bullying and how to be a good friend. They also make time for socializing and playing games. As part of their club, they will be visiting people throughout Lanigan, including the senior's home to distribute random acts of kindness baskets for the residents. The leaders of the club will be going  around to the kindergarten to Grade 5 students to discuss bullying and being a true friend. The students are thankful for the I am Stronger grant and will put the money they were granted to good use!

"I am Stronger is a social movement, a call to action to stop bullying and cyber-bullying in our communities. As an organization that believes in the power of change, SaskTel wants to take a stand and help lead that change by connecting those of us who are willing to put ourselves on the front lines for the fight against bullying."
