Former St. Brieux Student Receives Scholarship at University of Saskatchewan

October 12, 2018
Paige Daubenfeld, who graduated from St. Brieux School in 2018, recently learned that she will be receiving the 2018-19 Chancellors’ Award from the University of Saskatchewan. The scholarship, which is awarded based on academic achievement at a Canadian high school, provides $7,500 over four years, for a total of $30,000.

Paige is currently studying at the University of Saskatchewan in the College of Arts and Sciences, with intentions of completing a degree in Physiology and Pharmacology. She then plans to apply to the College of Medicine. She has always been interested in the health field, and sees it as a great way to help others.

"I would like to thank my career counsellor, Brent Loehr, who informed me of the Best and Brightest Entrance Scholarships, as I would not have gotten the Chancellors' Award without his guidance,” Paige says. “In addition, I would like to thank my teachers for educating and encouraging me to work hard, and my parents for believing in me and being great role models.”

Congratulations, Paige!
