CALM Contest 2024

Thank to to all who entered Horizon and Star Eggs' 2024 Canadian Agriculture Literacy Month contest! Congratulations to the Grade 10H class at Wakaw School who won 3,600 eggs and a classroom presentation!

Calm Contest 2024 Rules and Information

YOU COULD WIN 3600 EGGS FOR YOUR SCHOOL! Every classroom that participates in something agriculture related during the month of March and posts a "public" post(can be posted on school's social media), tagging both Star Egg and Horizon School Division will be entered. 1st Prize is 3600(300 dozen) eggs for their school and a classroom presentation from Star Egg Runner Up also gets classroom presentation from Star Egg on raising laying hens and egg grading. The Eggs will have to be picked up from their Humboldt or Saskatoon location and do not need to be picked up all at once. The winning school can pick up 1 box(15 dozen/box) at a time until they reach their 20 boxes(3600eggs).

Horizon's 2024 CALM Contest:

Horizon School Division No. 205 classrooms are eligible to enter.
Runs from March 1-31, 2024.
Is sponsored by the Star Egg Company.
Valid entries - social media post showing agriculture learning with Horizon and Star Egg tagged.
Winner will be randomly chosen.
The prize - 3,600 eggs - will be available for pickup from Star Eggs in Humboldt or Saskatoon, and can be collected one box of 15 dozen eggs at a time (or more).
The prize must be collected by March 31, 2025.
The prize must be used in the school setting.
